I couldn't make anyone paint this, that's an awful punishment.

This is freaky. Also I'd draw (in watercolor or pastel) anyone's car should they choose to pay me

Honestly seeing what you've done I would totally have you draw something up for me if I wasn't a broke college kid.

Thats really good, but I wouldnt consider that a drawing. I'd consider it a rendering. Cool nonetheless

Nope. I drew it by selecting a shape, filling it in with a color from the paint brush, and moving on. I did have a picture for reference, but I didn't copy/paste/generate anything.

You didnt trace vector it?
![]() 08/26/2014 at 12:47 |

it's all pixels and the selection tool. I have no idea how to do vectoring, or use the line tool to create curves.

Dodge and burn were my best friends. Surprisingly the blur tool was VERY useful as well. Usually a full car will take me about a week, working on it a couple hours per day. I did a bunch for friends and put them on shirts and stuff. They were so realistic, Cafepress thought they were photos and I got actual letters from Ferrari and Honda that I had to take down the merchandise. I could keep the pictures up though.

My best friend is the rubber stamp tool, but blur tool is a unexpectedly good blending tool if you have it at the right strength. Ive actually been looking far a new wall clock, the one I have is way too loud and I cant sleep with it running. I may end up buying that one you designed, do you know how loud the mechanism is?

Also, They shouldnt have to take anything down, because its an artist's rendering. Thats why I could have a VW logo in my Baja bug drawing of Raph's car and sell it without it being Copyright infringement

Pretty quiet. I haven't bought anything from myself in years, so I can't tell you about the recent quality, but the one I have is super-super simple (cheap, but works great). I haven't worked on my "shop" in a long time, I just leave it up and let it self-sustain.
